The action unfolds in a hall that has been forgotten for centuries. Rich Wilde stands fearless and tall behind the reels, holding the key to gold and glory, the Book of Madness. The grid consists of 5 reels and 5 rows featuring cluster pay mechanics. You'll make a winning combo by landing at least 4 identical symbols that touch horizontally or vertically on the grid. Then, the winning clusters are removed, and new symbols fall from above to fill the gaps.
Watch out for the eye marks that appear on the grid. Achieve a win on these marks, and 2 wild symbols will be added to the grid. All winning combinations are collected in the Portal behind the reels, which awards extras and features once you start filling them out.
Given that the occurrence of Tome of Madness tricks is impossible in the presence of RNG, we recommend playing in demo mode first to acquaint yourself with the game's features and understand the purpose of each wild symbol.

Tome of Madness How to Win
The Portal mentioned above will activate various features and Tome of Madness Bonus games based on the following conditions:
- When 7 identical symbols venture to activate the Portal, 2 Special Wilds will substitute for 2 symbols within the grid.
- If 14 symbols charge the Portal, 2 Special Wilds will substitute for 2 random symbols. Triggering a winning cluster with these substituted symbols will activate the Abyss Portal effect.
- Upon accumulating 27 symbols charging the Portal, 2 Special Wilds will replace 2 randomly selected symbols on the grid. If these substituted symbols contribute to forming winning clusters, the Void Portal effect will trigger.
- Reaching the stage where 42 symbols charge, the Portal will trigger the Other World Free Round feature.
What benefits do these features offer?
- The Abyss feature removes a row or column.
- The Void feature removes all instances of one random symbol.
- The Book of Madness triggers portal effects.
- The Multiplier Wild, represented by Rich Wilde, doubles all your winnings.
- The Mega Wild descends the grid to create rewarding opportunities.
When the meter accumulates 42 symbols, it initiates the Other World Free Round, providing Tome of Madness Free Spins with 3 random Portal Effects. Exceeding the Portal Meter's capacity will grant you an extra Portal Effect for every accumulation of 3 winning symbols (up to a maximum of 7 Portal Effects).
Play'n GO makes spinning the reels in Tome of Madness easy. The game has an appealing theme, with Rich Wilde playing the main role. While the potential Tome of Madness max win of 2,000x may not be particularly impressive, its RTP of 96.59% certainly is.
