Reality check
Everyone at Betsson wants to help you control and monitor your own gambling. The Reality Check we offer is to help you keep track of how long you have been playing. It will stop the game you're currently playing until you either select to continue or exit.

All players from Great Britain can switch on notifications on desktop by clicking on the username at the top right corner of the site, 'My Account' and then on the 'Responsible Gaming' link. Click on the 'Reality Check' tab and select the frequency you prefer. To switch on notifications on mobile, click on the 'Responsible Gaming' link in your account and then on 'Reality Check'. Turning the Reality Check on means that you will be informed every 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 60 minutes, or 2 hours, depending on your settings, about your current gaming session with regards to time spent, win/loss and will give you the option to either continue playing or leave the game.

Please note that sometimes our Reality Check pop up will display different buttons to continue playing or to exit the game depending on the game provider. Some providers may log you out of Betsson when you select to exit the game.

For Swedish residents and players gambling under the MGA license, the Reality Check pop up is activated by default and is triggered every 60 minutes to remind the players of their gaming activity.

Gaming provider reality checks
Live casino games from Evolution have their own Reality Check within their games set by default to every 60 minutes. Your Betsson Reality Check settings will therefore not affect live casino games provided by Evolution.

Session time limit
Swedish residents have an ability to set a Session Time Limit in addition to other limits offered at Betsson. It allows you to be in control of the time spent gambling and offers a possibility to activate Daily, Weekly and Monthly Time Limits.

Self-assessment test
